No rattlers? My bro was cured of poking into adits without a clue south of the Q, Scoobies. Rattlers waiting for him. He burst out of there like an Hashknife bound for Holbrook. Yup, those are asbestos mines.
Found a mine with tracks in it and levels with tracks no tailings. It was so rich they were hauling all away. And I came on a wooden and iron cart hand hammered and about 460 pounds of 78% Spanish gold. Black powder was carried in leather and there was 50 sealed leather and wax powder haulers. The tracks would not bear the weight and gave out before we got our and we hauled it out alter with packs and mules. We picked up mule shit and erased tracks and hid piles and came back till we were dizzy. Found a hillside where Indians emptied packs stole the mules…or burros. Found a stinky old cave where Indians have thrown in dozens of bodies over 400 years . You won’t even find it with a drone. And if yer not invited to this place …well you become a resident….good thing I’m family. My step father helped move dozens of tons of silver and gold from the sacred stashes. But then he developed the Navajo code talkers. A god on the res. He got the idea we couldn’t sell ingots till 75.So Mr. Auble and his native friends helped build the forges and buy the tools and bring on the silver hundreds of tons and gold dozens of tons…of raided Indian gold …the largest private reserve in the world. $15-30B …do you want to know what I have seen ? Well I watched a B52 crash in my backyard on Florin Rd 1981. Sacramento. That was some action. Dad bought the Lost Dutchman mine. Not the Indian guy…my dad yeah he got the lot on the southwest corner of the Queen Valley Country club . Green is 70-100 ft from his front door. That’s the eastern gold field of the lost Dutchman mine. Dads 86. About my turn to wander aimlessly through the desert alone trying to find that wash…that took my stash 40 years ago. Send help it’s hot out here.
Ok.so that mine had an air compressor for running an air drill.at least two air tanks. ore cars. rails .lot of money spent just getting that equipment up there.wow.
this is awesome. nice to see you guys leave things where they lay. too many people just cant resist walking off with things and that ruins the experience for the next adventurer.
Up until about 10 years ago the harder to find tunnels to the east used to still have an ore cart in it. We used to have a blast pushing each other around it until I visited it with my son in 09′ and someone had finally taken it. A real shame, but I can’t imagine how they got it out short of using a helicopter!
The mine wasn’t lost, you just don’t know how to look up claims in the BLM records. See the first comment at the bottom of the list. I used to visit the caretaker once in a while in the cabin onsite. Posting evidence of trespassing isn’t the smartest thing to do.
Always steer clear of any explosives that you may come across in these abandoned mines. That stuff is HIGHLY unstable, the slightest jarring of if could set it off and that’ll be the end of you.
In case you guys didnt know …All the mines in the Pleasant Valley (Cherry Ck is one area) are old Uranium Mines..not Gold or Silver. I have been in most of them long before I knew that. Dont go in them anymore andI should be glowing by now. They (Govt.) are starting to close the entrances on the ones that are easily accessible by Quad or Vehicle.
You guys sound really immature, and should wise up if you’re going to be posting vids like these. Act as if you had rational minds.
Looks like a prospect mine, they use air compressors for the jackhammer, they core for samples so they can Analyse for gold.
gps coordinates?
